ARE YOU READY TO BE A WIFE?

If you are ready for marriage, the first step is to STOP dating men that seem to have no potential. i.e. Non - husband material. Pray a lot more than you usually do for God to give you your own husband and put you in the right direction. You also have to be ready to let love into your life and enjoy it. You must be able to take personal responsibility for your love life and do what is necessary to be happy. At this stage, maturity is key.

You need to start being visible to the right men. When you do that, you start getting your way and dating becomes fun thus getting you closer to achieving your ultimate goal. Make sure you are not holding back, give the relationship all you've got because that way you are slowly becoming wifey material. Use your years of dating experience to make your last relationship your BEST relationship. Multitudes of single women think they are ready to be a wife but the truth of the matter is that they are not emotionally ready. They still subconsciously think that the world still revolves around them.

Is there a right time to get married?

Everyone's time and calling is totally different. The harsh reality is that NOT everyone will get married. Some people are just destined to be single. But when you feel you are ripe enough to ask yourself this question, position yourself properly in the right place to meet the right person. Make sure you are strong enough to accept and embrace change because there will be a lot of this in your life as a wife. Be prepared for the person your are marrying to show you a totally different side of him you never knew. Be ready to accept all that he has told you about himself as you have decided to take a decision to get married to him.

Some people are 40 when they start asking themselves the ultimate question especially if you were 'unlucky in love' or you found love late in life. Whilst asking yourself this question, it's important to realize that in marriage, nothing is really ever private. Be ready to share your life with your spouse.
