GUEST BAKER - NAHEMA ALI

One of our lovely friends who we value for her lovely personality and pure spirit made this amazing 

cake which we absolutely loved and thought we should share with you. The cake has a red velvet 

sponge centre and she beautifully decorated it with strawberries and drizzled it with chocolate  and 

surrounded the outside with white chocolate fingers.

Such cakes would be ideal for surprising friends at a friendly dinner meal; the level of difficulty is 

attainable  and does not require a master baker to execute such a cake. 

Nahema has a great talent when it comes to making cakes and has perfected pipping and we hope to 

share some of her other work with you in future posts coming soon.

Ultimate price to pay for the ultimate crime

DEATH PENALTY/SENTENCE



THIS ARTICLE DOES NOT DEFEND MURDERERS BUT DEFENDS THE PRESERVATION OF LIFE.

In any society the existence of the death penalty raises one prominent question: is our justice

system established for the purpose of rehabilitation or the desire for retribution. 

Some argue that the death penalty is a fair punishment for a heinous act whilst others 

question the morality, validity and actual purpose of this consequential law.

If the goal of any punishment is to teach citizens what is morally wrong then 

the justice system acting as the judiciary should therefore teach the criminality of killing by 

refusing to partake in it.

It has never been proven that killing murderers stops criminals from committing murder.

Some chose to employ the "life for a life" principle when attempting to justify this law. Others argue 

that maintaining the living conditions of prisoners comes at a great price at the taxpayers income. Why 

then should a prisoner deserve to be kept in Bread-and-breakfast run by our government?

Why should an offender who perverted  the law expect the very same law to protect them?

However we should charge such persons to focus on preserving the LIFE of an offender rather than 

his freedom. We, as citizens, taxpayers, employees and employers tend to cling to our laws tighter 

than we do our morals. We look at such inmates as a court case and not a human being, equally as 

vulnerable as ourselves. We take away his liberty to chose between life and death. We support the 

same laws that leave another family without a brother, sister, daughter, son, husband or wife . By 

doing so, we commit the biggest and most unpardonable crime on planet earth- a crime against 

humanity. Let us instead adopt a more humane approach that bears in mind the best interest of all 

members involved- including the criminal. This is what will preserve humanity.

If we are not the creator surely we should not mess with the creation. 

A crime should be punishable-YES-but death should not be the punishment.

The number of executions since 1976 have been approximately 1375 and climbing in America alone; 

The race of defendants executed are as follows white 56 %, black 34%, Hispanic 8% and others 2%. 

The race of victims in death penalty cases which are still pending are as follows white 76%, black 

15%, Hispanic 7% and others 2%. Accordingly, a  research project conducted  in 2009  found out that 

the  death penalty was ranked last among the ways to prevent violence. California currently spends $1 

million each year to execute criminals and is set to spend $1 billion in the next 5 years .

FEMININE HYGIENE: INTIMATE AREA

"Jokes about feminine hygiene are totally inappropriate PERIOD".

As a lady, maintaining your feminine hygiene is important to your overall health and helps 

prevent odours, itching and discomfort. It is very necessary as a growing lady to maintain 

feminine hygiene by bathing/showering regularly and develop healthy habits during your 

monthly gift from mother nature. For those wondering what that is, it's your menstrual 

cycle.

For the ladies who are not keen on using products to wash during the morning cleansing routine. A 

good start will be to rinse, wash and repeat. If you do this regularly with just water and unscented 

soap it goes a long way with keeping clean and healthy throughout the course of the day. Using pure 

powder to prevent moisture and trimming your edges/waxing to prevent sweat is also a very good 

routine when maintaining your intimates.

Is something fishy going on?

It's normal for clean/healthy vaginas to have a mild smell occasionally. It's  fine to have a bad 

day sometimes but it's not something that should occur on a regular basis. However, a strong 

foul odour usually means something is going WRONG. Don't be embarrassed, just go and see a 

doctor.  Doctors see funky stuff all the time. Go and get it treated instead of masking it with 

sprays everyday.

Choose products wisely

It's important to be wary of the products used on your vagina.  Products containing strong 

scents no matter how hypo - allergenic they claim to be, can cause infections which can lead to  

foul smelling discharge.  It's always better to STICK to products recommended by your 

gynaecologist. This will really help maintain good feline hygiene.

You are what you eat

What you eat can greatly influence how you smell down there. Curb spicy foods in order to 

smell heavenly and drink lots of water, cranberry and pineapple juice.  Consuming lots of fresh 

fruits and vegetables also helps.

- Hope you are having a good weekend -

Nobody is perfect and within every human there is always room 

for great improvement. There are several areas in life which we 

should aim to improve in order to become better person. 

1) LOVE YOURSELF - Now this may seem contradicting as the topic is self 

improvement and one of the first steps to doing this is loving yourself. When we say 

Love yourself this mean appreciating that there is room for improvement and loving 

yourself in a way that allows you to enhance the existing qualities as a means of 

change. *Celebrate yourself and what you have accomplished embrace your 

uniqueness.

2) Practice Gratitude - Even when things might be going wrong be grateful for your 

life as others were not fortunate enough to be in your position. Being grateful in the 

midst of unpleasant situations will help you to really love the good situations. An 

appreciative spirit is favoured as it is positive and encouraging to be around. 

MAKE PEOPLE WANT TO BE AROUND YOU BY BEING GRATEFUL

3)Forgive and let go of malice - Now this is hard to put into practice when you have 

been wronged but it is essential to helping you to move on and focus on the positive. 

Sometimes bad situations are good lessons for learning crucial life lessons. Keeping

malice does not help with self improvement as you spend more time hating people 

than analysing what is happening with yourself.

As it's Friday, it's time to 

unwind after a very busy week.

This is another one of the many regular restaurants 

which serves good food at an affordable price.

What we might order 

We go for lunch quite often It's just something we love doing and 

each time we go out, we like to try something different!! 

This time we decided to try the:

• Blazing Bird which comes with fries and Salad   either   marinated in Honey peri-peri sauce or spicy barbecue jerk sauce. 

• The classic Burger - lightly spiced beef patty in a toasted bun with tomato and fried onion.

We love going here with our friends as the environment is very 

calm and lovely. The service is wonderful and its a great 

place to sit and have an impromptu lunch date with 

friends.

Hope you enjoyed viewing what our taste buds feast on sometimes.
