GOD AND HIS CHOSEN CHILDREN - DON JAZZY EDITION

...
THE LORD'S LOVE WILL NEVER FAIL OR RUN OUT
...

TRUST IN THE ONE WHO CREATED YOU - HIS LOVE IS ETERNAL AND WE SHOULD FOREVER BE GRATEFUL

!!SURULERE!!
*DON JAZZY'S PATIENCE AND TRUST IN THE LORD HAS NOW GIVEN HIM THE DOROBUCCI HIGH-LIFE*

This is the continuation of the previous GOD AND HIS CHOSEN CHILDREN ARTICLE and this

week we will base our article on DON JAZZY'S SONG SURULERE and we hope you are

encouraged to chase your dreams and trust in God.

"PATIENCE IS REWARDING" - DON JAZZY

Patience is essential in life and brings a better reward than
rushing; it is a process which takes time and requires faith and a confident trust in the Lord who giveth and taketh away.
The Lord works in his own time he can not be rushed as he is the divine ruler of all things and we might perceive him to be late but he is always right on time. Don Jazzy was not always a Dorobucci but he had patience and trust in the Lord who blesses and the Lord surely did BLESS HIM.

*Psalm 37:7-9 - Be still before the LORD and wait patiently...*

"GOD ABOVE DOES EVERYTHING FOR ME" - DON JAZZY

DO YOU KNOW YOUR BLESSER
As christians we must know where our help comes from and always be ready to acknowledge the God as the giver of all things good. We believe God cares for us and as our FATHER IN HEAVEN he is the one who protects us and allows us to even exist today. When God is the mighty one fighting your battle you can not fall because you have put your faith in the Lord who is everlasting and consistent. Don Jazzy acknowledges his blesser and this is probably what enables him to carry on being blessed as he does not boast in his own works but recognises his talents are from God and that the all mighty is the one who has opened doors for him to step into.

"NO ENEMY CAN GET AT ME" - DON JAZZY

We love Don Jazzy for this line in the song...Now God as our strong tower and protector promises to never leave nor forsake us. If we search throughout the BIBLE we will see many examples of GOD scattering enemies who hinder his people. Those who dare to oppose the children of God need to be careful because you are messing with God's chosen children and that is dangerous territory. The LORD IS LOVING DO NOT GET US WRONG BUT HE LOVES HIS CHILDREN ASWELL AND FIGHTS FOR THE WEAK AS HE IS THEIR STRENGTH. God also has the power of bringing peace and calm into the lives of those who follow him so if there are people who do hinder your life stay strong for God will bring calm to the storm.

*Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed formed against you will prosper*

*Exodus 23:22 But if you shall indeed over his voice, and do all that i speak; then i be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries *

*Proverbs 16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him*

"MY ENEMIES THINK ITS OVER BUT THEY DON'T KNOW MY END - ONLY GOD KNOWS"- DON JAZZY

Only God knows your tomorrow and we encourage you to truly trust in the MOST HIGH. The Lord is the creator of everything; he designed all things and we ASSURE you that he has planned your life well. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED there will always be people who oppose the dream and the visions that you have but you must know that God created you and only he knows how it ends. We challenge you to really review your life and think where would u be without the LORD- God has been faithful in keeping us till now and we are so grateful.

"THEY THINK I WILL DIE OUT BUT WHETHER OR NOT YOU LIKE IT I WILL CASH OUT" - DON JAZZY

"ENEMIES MAY WANT ME TO BOW OUT BUT MY RIVERS OF  WILL NEVER DRY OUT" - DON JAZZY

..........
*Matthew 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.*

In asking and trusting in God we must remember most
importantly that the Lord is not a santa claus GOD who we simply look to for gifts. The Lord deserves  praise regardless of what you have. WORSHIP the LORD always and live righteously because the reason why you are living is because of his grace and everlasting mercy.

10 STAPLES FOR EVERY WOMAN'S WARDROBE

Timeless pieces have always been winners. Investing in timeless pieces is worthwhile and you won't be stuck figuring out what to wear each time you have an event.

"Fashion fades but style is eternal! Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman"

THE ULTIMATE DRESS - It is an appropriate attire to have when you have to attend black tie

events, weddings and formal events : you always know what to reach for. It should be a top

priority for every woman to want to look and feel good. Once you own one, it limits your stress of

having to go searching for one when an event arises. Moreover, at the time you need it for an

event, you might find one that you like. Invest in one while you can. DON'T wait until a need

arises.

BLACK PANTS  - Every woman needs a pair of black pants. They are just so useful and they

match with almost everything. We call them the multi - tasking trousers. They can be dressed up

or dressed down depending on the occasion. Because it's such a timeless piece, they are never

outdated.

BLACK PUMPS - If you are trying to grow your shoe collection, it's always better to start

with the basics. A pair of black pumps are very necessary. They are usually the go to shoes for a

night out, dressy occasions, on a pair of jeans etc. They have the ability to polish up an outfit and

make it look classy and simple. A woman with good shoes is never ugly *wink*.

BLACK SUIT - After a certain age, every woman should own a tailored black suit. It is just the

standard expected in a workplace. It adds a polished, modern, formal and smart look to your

style. Please invest in one if you haven't got one. It's just the expected gold standard. You can't go

wrong in a tailored black suit that fits you, they always look impeccable.

NEUTRAL HANDBAGS - They match almost every outfit and every season. It's always nice to

have an Italian leather handbag as they are well known for their quality and patterns. If you want

to jazz your bag up, you can tie a nice silk scarf by the handle or a pretty bag charm.

NON-STATEMENT JEWELLERY - Simple sterling silver and gold can give your outfit a classy

twist. Even pearls go a long way when you want to look really dressy. Stud earrings can catch

attention but not so distracting. As the saying goes 'less is more'. If there is something about

simplicity that you can't take away from it, it's the elegance that comes along with it.

A BLAZER - It just gives you that casual professional look. Usually perfect at the weekends with

jeans or on a nice skirt. They can work from meetings to lunch dates or even on Fridays for work.

It adds to the diversity of your wardrobe. Kate Middleton pulls the  blazer look off very nicely as

well as Alicia Keys. It's sometimes difficult to find blazers with the perfect fit, but once you do, it's

a keeper!

WHITE SHIRT- Every woman should own at least one. It's a wardrobe staple that never goes out

of style. Carolina Herrera just loves her white shirts. It's perfect idea to wear for interviews, lunch

dates and there is something about an all white outfit that's just crisp, clean and classy. Since it's

spring, they are a perfect idea as they will make you cooler as the temperatures are beginning to

rise. Also, white is the new 'BIG THING'.

PENCIL SKIRT - They have been around of decades and it doesn't seem like they are going

anywhere any time soon. It's easily pulled off by any figure. If you love the smart look,

I encourage you to buy different colours matching your style palette. It's just great at showing off

your feminine figure and looks much better when the shirt/top is tucked in except the style of the

top can't be tucked in. It's perfect to wear to the office or even when you are hanging out with the

girls.

JEANS - It's important to wear jeans that fit properly. If you know you can't do it on your own,

take a style conscious person with you when going shopping; Someone who will be brutally honest

with you. We all have jeans issues sometimes and certain jeans accentuate your curves more than

others depending on your body shape and your bum. Don't hesitate to try different stores till you

 find your perfect fit.

THESE ARE OUR TOP 10 STAPLES!!!!

WAYS TO KEEP A LONG - TERM RELATIONSHIP INTERESTING

Relationships are HARD WORK and they don't get any easier... Or do they?
...
With long - term relationships there will always be periods of doubts and speedy bumps. People forget that just because you have been together for a long time doesn't mean that you still can't have fun!! LOVE is definitely of vital importance. We can't stress that enough and it's something we can't support you on. However, we can give you ways to keep the steam in your relationship going and keep the momentum going.

HAVE GATHERINGS - This way you don't have to be attached to each other ALL the time. It gives you both an opportunity to mingle with others and be relaxed. The men can all hang playing games and the women can all create their own fun as we always do. It's a good way to keep your long-term relationship interesting.

DISCOVER KNEW THINGS - Doing this once in a while always helps. Keep adding that element of 'new' in your life. Dare to be different and daring sometimes. Oh and it gives you both something to talk about and if you keep up doing this, you will hardly have dull moments with each other.

SET GOALS TOGETHER - It's always nice to discuss ambition and goals with each other. It also improves the momentum as a couple. Always think about being better in the relationship and instead of doing it yourself, do it with your partner so you can advice each other.

SURPRISE VISITS - This has to be the ultimate romantic experience. Make your partner happy by going to see him/her and it helps revive your relationship. It also shows that you are thinking of him/her which rejuvenates your long term relationship.

SHOW YOUR LOVE, DON'T BE SHY - Be excited when you see each other. We know this sounds moist but even the little gestures like holding hands, eye contacts and stuff like that do go a long way and make the relationship exciting.

BE GENEROUS - Remember it's a give and take world. Don't always expect the man to do everything and vice versa! Be yourself and show appreciation and acknowledgement. It adds a sparkle to the relationship. No one wants to be with an ungrateful person. REMEMBER - COMPASSION MATTERS.

SEXUALLY - Try new things out to stimulate your partner. You can't be boring and keep killing the steam in the bedroom. It's such a turn off when the satisfaction is not mutual. Reinvent the will!!!! *wink wink*.

BE IN A LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP WITH ACTION, ADVENTURE AND FUN!

IMPORTANT LESSONS WE HAVE LEARNT IN LIFE.

If we had known better or maybe if we had listened to our parents a lot more than we did, we would have had to go through some unpleasant patches in life. Oh well! I guess thats what growing up is all about.

Religion - If we had picked it up ages ago and taken it very seriously, we would have gone a lot further than we have today. *sigh* But as the saying goes "Better late than never BUT never late is better".

Being disciplined - This is one of our costly weaknesses but we have worked very hard on this skill and here we are today balancing out our education and other activities. Some people are late starters and get their lives together a lot later than others but at the end of the day, it's not a competition. Being disciplined has impacted our lives positively.

Be your own best friend - No one can give you complete closure apart from yourself. The sooner you learn to be your own best friend, the better your life will be. It helps boost your confidence and you feel comfortable in your skin.

Fear is the root of all evil NOT money - The minute you are afraid to chase down your dreams because you feel they are to big, or you feel you have not got the will power to chase them, you have begun to waste time. Never be scared to start small. Don't be scared of criticism.

Don't force friendships - It's either meant to be or it's not meant to be.  It's nobody's fault, it's just life.

The world doesn't care about you - This may sound scary, but it's the harsh reality. It's how you feel within that matters. One day, everything we have done will be forgotten like it never existed.  Don't be hell bent on pleasing people. BE YOURSELF.

THESE ARE OUR IMPORTANT LESSONS THAT WE HAVE LEARNT SO FAR.

Hope you found them insightful!!

MASQUERADE BALL

....
MASQUERADE BALL
....
*PERSONAL BLOG POST*

Faces behind the blog

Hie everyone hope you had a great weekend and you enjoy your bank holiday Monday.

Now in today's blog post you get to have a look at one of the events we attended last night- we had

a wonderful time at the ball and the atmosphere and people were amazing. Now when attending a

ball for the first time it can be a bit overwhelming when thinking about outfits and masks so we

have done a blog post today to help cover some of the key things needed to attend a ball in great

style.

We went for two very different styles but each was appropriate. When we attend such events we

always try to have FUN and be stress free. If you get the chance to attend such things please

enjoy yourselves and just BE in the moment and enjoy your night.

We enjoyed some amazing cocktails and DJ JAZZY JEFF was incredible.

Unfortunately we did not take pictures of the cocktails but we promise they tasted good *laugh*
....

*The MASK*

Now when searching for a mask there are so may options and different places to find one.

Ebay - They have some amazing masks for cheap prices: you can find metallic masks or lace masks

which will look really amazing.

Facelace.com- On this website you will find beautiful designs--this type of mask sticks on

to your face and looks amazing. It has a great elegance about it and will allow you to not worry

about tying it and fixing it every two seconds because it stays on the whole night.

 *The shoes*

Now when attending a masquerade it is important to look flawless from head to toe- shoes are a

great way of finishing off an outfit and help enhance confidence and make you feel sexy.

GIVE A GIRL THE RIGHT SHOE AND SHE CAN CONQUER THE WORLD- MARILYN MONROE

*Jewellery*

Now when accessorizing an outfit with jewellery you must have a perfect balance. If you are

wearing a statement piece then you should really try and keep away from adding more jewellery

as it can look too much. We always try and wear a minimum of two pieces of jewellery.

*The dress*

MAIN THING

WEAR THE DRESS DON'T LET THE DRESS WEAR YOU - it is important to buy a dress

which you are comfortable with and suits your style. The dress can be long or short but please

refrain from looking trashy; if wearing a short dress let it still look elegant and appropriate.

Thank you

BEING THE ONE WORTH SETTLING DOWN FOR.

...RELATIONSHIP TALK...

Now in our last article we ended it with saying that women have to be the one worth settling

down for. Now as women we must understand that there are some men who love the playa

stage of their life and as harsh as it may sound a lot of women want men to settle down with

them but they are not really worth a man leaving his bachelor life.

(Please refrain from being offended as we are simply trying to offer advice.)

......
How to be a great catch
......

1. Knowing your worth - Now as dramatic as it may sound we as two young women do not like to

settle for average; we work hard in trying to make ourselves accomplished young women and we

won't settle for a man who does not compliment our worth. This can sometimes be the same for men.

A man does not settle down with average - if a man has built himself up during his PLAYER STAGE

and he is a good package he will not settle down with a mediocre packaged woman. Part of

becoming a woman who knows her worth can be through possessing a certain level of authenticity

and confidence. This is why we personally think that before women head into the settling down

stage they should experience an ACCOMPLISHING stage which will allow them to know their

worth as they are have invested in themselves in a way a man can admire.

2. Accomplished - Now as women we have a habit of wanting men to have a 6 figure pay check,

good car etc. but we ourselves do not have any thing spectacular to bring to the table. We have to

make sure that when the right man comes we have a relationship CV which makes sense and

looks impressive. We challenge all single women to take your singleness an opportunity to make

some thing of yourselves and so that when MR RIGHT comes he can see he has truly found a

diamond.

3. Appearance - Now as women we can not afford to wake up and go out in to the world looking

like we do not own a mirror. Women normally can spend a long amount of time getting dresses

for special events but during the day time they are not looking too good. Not everyone might be

comfortable with wearing make up and 6 inch heels during the day but their is a certain level of

grooming that must appear during the day which allows us to still look good yet comfortable. In

addition to looking good as we head out we should try ad take care of ourselves and have days which

we dedicate to looking after ourselves and just getting in touch with who we are - it can be a good

way to reflect.

4. Have an independent life - Now ladies it is important to establish an independent life with

friends and personal activities. The reason why this is important is because you do not want to be

clinging to you man when he comes along due to failing to establish a personal life. Your single

years are your best years to find your best friends and really enjoy life and be young.

5. Become approachable - Has anyone ever come across certain types of women who have a

happiness about them which lights up the whole room. These types of women are so comfortable

with who they are and love to socialise and look easy to approach as they are not grouchy but

make people want to partake in their happiness. Be cheerful and do not let anyone stop you from

being happy.

SMILE LADIES BE HAPPY

MEN AND SETTLING DOWN WITH THE RIGHT ONE

...RELATIONSHIP TALK...

One of our favourite male actors has been recently engaged and this inspired us to write this article on men settling down

...........
Now as young women we personally are not experiencing the pressures that come with trying to get

men to settle down as we are still focussing on finding our own path and trying to be independent.

However we are aware that some women are facing the challenges of dealing with men who

are not committed and ready to settle down. In this article we will try and highlight some of the

reasons why men might find it difficult to settle down and what we as women need to do to set

ourselves apart as wife material.

..........

Not all men are the same so we will refrain from generalising but still try and provide you as readers

with some of the most popular reasons for why men might not want to settle down. In regards to

dating, men experience different stages in their lives: the adolescence stage, the playa stage and the

settling down stage; most women tend to cross paths with men while they are in their playa stage

and this is when issues of settling down arise. As women hoping to get married and find

something that is worth while,  we have a propensity to require the settling down stage from

men who have not reached this desired frame of mind.

Now us being women we know that this could be frustrating and painful to women who are seeking

a more solid relationship as they are not finding what they are seeking.

WHY IS THIS YOU MAY ASK??

(Now this is when we must try and refrain from generalising as no man is identical to the next but,

we will try and offer some of the popular answers to this pivotal question)

1.  He is in the playa stage - Now during this stage of a man's life any woman trying to

make a man settle down at this time could potentially be wasting their time. While a man in this

stage he could meet some of the most remarkable women but due to his frame of mind he will most

likely be blind to the woman's amazing characteristic because it is not what he is searching for.

*Now this frame of mind is not because the man is a sleaze and simply wishes to sleep around

 during the player stage*

As women we have to realise that during the player stage men are not just

simply wishing to run around being playas; It is an stage where they grow as an individual and try

to secure the facets which will allow them to compete in the settling down stage e.g good income

etc.

2. There is a certain type he is in search for - Now this can be the sad reality that

some women are facing with men. Most men already have a preconceived notion of the TYPE of

woman they want to marry and this could be tall slim etc. but that doesn't mean that during his dating

stage he will not entertain short and curvy. Similar to the actor we referenced early he was known

during his dating stage to go for women who were less of the intellectual branch and more overtly

beautiful.

However when assessing the woman he is engaged to she does not entirely fit the profile of the

women he DATED. What we are trying to say ladies is that most men have an idea of what type

of women they want to bring home to mom and it does not matter how amazing you might be in

some cases you are just not the one. Its sad but true. It is important to actually ask men WHAT

TYPE OF WOMAN do you want to end up with and as we have come to find with our friends this

tends to differ from the past or present women in their lives during their dating stage.

Now this does not mean as women we should now have low self esteem it just means YOU ARE

NOT THE ONE FOR HIM

3. Men have an innate desire to be domesticated - Now with most men during

their dating stage they could be searching for a woman who is worth them stepping aside from the

game and leaving the fast lane to settle down. Now this is where the smiles can come as you do not

have to be physically the most amazing women to attract men at this stage in their life.

You will come to find that brains can overpower beauty and that an intellectual mind can be very

attractive. Accomplished women have a certain air about them which is very attractive as they

mentally can stimulate a man. Most men want to settle down with a women who can stimulate them

is ways that are just beyond the physical (the physical stimulation is important but other things are

key too) and this is why as women we must also have what it takes to make a man see us as good

enough to leave the game ; YOU MUST MAKE HIM FEEL LIKE HE HAS JUST FOUND A

DIAMOND.

*SPECIAL GUEST ARTICLE* - INSIDER'S CITY GUIDE - CAPE TOWN

Insider's City Guide - Cape Town - Dates, Dinner, Drinks and Dancing

Cape Town is renowned for being artsy and 'chilled'. It has a wealth of bars, restaurants, and cultural activities available for every budget. Each suburb has its loyal followers. There's Claremont for students who wants to get drunk and raucous, Observatory for the more bohemian crowd, Greenpoint for gay bars and elaborate cocktails, and Camps Bay for big spenders and a 'beachy' vibe. This city guide's focus is on what I think is the best part of Cape Town, the CBD.
The CBD's main selling point is that there are more things to do in a smaller space with a place for everyone. Everything is a fifteen minute walk or a five minute drive away, so you can afford to be spontaneous when it comes to planning a day or night out.

DATES
There are plenty of romantic (and cheap) things for a couple to do in Cape Town's CBD.
The classic 'dinner and a movie' is made all the better at [the Labia Theatre] {the labia.co.za}. It's an independent cinema housed in a historical building, that screens art, foreign and historical films, as well as a few blockbusters. The tickets are cheap and the confectionary stand is fantastic (baked goods and alcoholic slush puppies!).
To top it all off, they offer meal specials so that you can eat at one of the nearby restauants and then watch a film, all for R90. Make sure to take advantage of the meal special on a Monday or Tuesday, when the participating restaurant is [Societi Bistro] {societi.co.za}. It's the perfect place to take a date.
For a day-time date, try the [Iziko National Gallery] {iziko.org/static/page/south-african-national-gallery}, followed by a stroll around the Gardens and a stop at a nearby coffee shop. My favourites are [Yours Truly] {yourstrulycafe.co.za}, Power and the Glory, and [Truth Coffee] {truthcoffee.com}.

DINNER
There are plenty of restaurants for various tastes all over the CBD. [The Fat Cactus] {fatcactus.co.za}  off Kloof Street is a good bet for Tex-Mex and margheritas to be shared with friends.
In fact, all of Kloof Street has a myriad of food options, from Asian fusion to NYC-style pizza. Take a walk or drive down the road from top to bottom and any place you choose is bound to be good.
[Royale Eatery] {royaleeatery.com}on Long Street makes a mean gourmet burger, to be paired with craft beers and wines. Royale is another culinary experience made sweeter by a group of friends during a night on the town.
[Lefty's] {facebook.com/pages/Leftys/190484801141942} on Harrington street has more of a dive bar feel, but the food is excellent and out-of-the-box. I recommend the beetroot falafel but I've heard rave reviews about the chicken and waffles. There's an odd but great crowd to go with the odd but great food, so stick around for drinks at the bar afterwards.

DRINKS
Long Street is the place that comes to everyone's mind when they think of a night of drinking in central Cape Town. It is for bars what Kloof street is for restaurants. Walk down the street and you're sure to find a place that suits your taste. I recommend [The Waiting Room] {facebook.com/WaitingRoomCT} for sundowners and pre-drinks, as well as [Neighbourhood] {goodinthehood.co.za}. However, Long Street can be quite the tourist trap. If you can, bring along a local friend to be your guide, and don't get distracted by the sights or someone is likely to swipe your bag.
If the bustle of Long Street isn't for you, go a few streets away and there are more options. [Clarke's Bar] {clarkesdining.co.za}, [&Union] {andunion.com} and [Orphanage] {theorphanage.co.za}, all on Bree Street, are all fun. These bars can get packed, and some dislike their 'hipster' vibe but they'll never be as hectic as Long Street on a Saturday night.
While Lefty's feels like a dive bar, The Kimberly on Roeland Street actually is one. It is (according to its own claims) the third oldest pub in the country. The crowd is diverse ranging from students and hipster-types, to drunk old men and, to be frank, crazy people. If you're an artist, a writer, or just an open-thinker, here is the place to study all kinds of characters. Make sure to bring along a group of unpretentious friends willing to take advantage of the gin specials and monopolise the juke box, and the night will take a turn for the best. It's full almost every night of the week, even Mondays. Although no one talks too proudly about spending a night drinking there, most everyone who lives in town has done it.

DANCING
Back to Long Street. If you care more about the music than you do about ambiance hit up [Fiction] {fictionbar.com} and [the Purple Turtle] {facebook.com/pages/the-purple-turtle/361956140482485}, two bastions of the underground music scene. If you're a little tamer, try [Zula] {zulabar.co.za} or the [Manila Bar] {facebook.com/pages/TheManilaBar}. The Waiting Room is also a good place to dance on a Friday. Come early for 'Early Fridays' and dance with the art school crowd, and then stay for 'Uppercut Fridays' which kicks off later in the evening and is all hip hop.
Further afield is [the Assembly] {theassembly.co.za} on Harrington street, which prides itself on giving the best local acts in rock, hip hop and electronic music a stage. Sometimes they really exceed themselves and get a hold of top notch international acts (Foals' DJ set earlier this year, for example) although I'm particularly partial to our local indie scene. 'See You Next Wednesdays' and 'YOH! Saturdays' are always fun.
Once again, no matter where you decide to go, make sure to do your research first. Every night at every club is different. A quick look at a venue's Facebook page will stop a hip hop lover from finding themselves in the middle of a thrash metal gig. It also means you'll know if a club is going to be 'dead' before you get there. Another tip, make friends with the locals. Even when it doesn't seem like it, Capetonians are a welcoming bunch, especially when they detect a foreign accent. They'll be sure to direct you to any of the many hotspots around town.

HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT READ!
